About Ashley

I have always loved caring for kids. I have many fond memories of being a babysitter for families within my community, and I am very grateful for the relationships that I still have today with the kids that I babysat. In addition to babysitting, as a summer job between college semesters, I helped nanny a sweet little girl with special needs. Providing for this girl's unique needs taught me a lot, and helped me develop my ability to problem solve, and also increased my knowledge of how to create activities specific to a child's needs. Now that I am finishing my college degree from Utah State University in English Education, I've learned even more about helping kids develop self-confidence, and how to help kids stretch themselves and grow in a comfortable, loving atmosphere. These experiences, combined with my instinctive love for kids and teenagers is what has prompted me to look for a nannying job.
