About Ashley

Hello! My name is Ashley and I currently work as a behavioral technician day to day. I am CPR and first aid certified on babies, adolescents and adults. My job requires helping children with autism learn how to communicate and teaching them skills to help allow them to be more independent. I have lots of experience with severe tantrum behavior as well as getting children to participate in things they might not want to do, in a way that makes them want to do it (such as brushing teeth). I am very gentle and will never shout or force a child to do something upon resistance, however, I do believe in a disciplinary approach, for example; if the child wants to play on their iPad, then they need to clean up their toys first. I have my own reliable transportation that is smoke free as well as my home. I can cook, do light house work, help with homework, transportation, and am fine with pets who are well behaved. I am also able to help feed pets if needed. I am excited to work with your family
