About Ashley

Hi, my name is Ashley. I am currently 21 years old and I have had many job experiences working with kids. When I was 15 I lifeguarded and taught swim lessons until February 2020. I have worked as a teacher in a childcare center for 4 years. I am currently going to school at the University of Minnesota Duluth and am majoring in integrated special and elementary education. Right now I am studying abroad and student teaching in Croatia. For the past 3 summers, I worked at a summer camp and was the camp supervisor for 2 years. I have a lot of energy and am very good at finding fun activities and participating in activities with children of all ages. I have training and experience in making sure that children are well cared for. I pride myself on making sure that children are loved and feel expected by all caregivers. Within my jobs, I have learned numerous skills such as planning fun activities, problem-solving, communicating with both parents and children, and more.
