About Ashley

I have had several years caring for children. I have supervised children for several families with a variety of different ages. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's in Social Work. I have a love and passion to protect families. This is evident from my years of service as a social worker in Texas and North Carolina. I have a 5-year-old son myself and understand the need for a reliable babysitter. I have knowledge in child development and have experience in age appropriate activities. I do not smoke or use drugs. I have a background check and currently CPR certified. I have also worked for Girl Scouts of America and volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club. I am seeking to help out families who need occasional help with their children in the evening and mostly on the weekend. I can be available on short notice. I am a parent and know that every couple needs an occasional date night or just some time alone. I can work at my house or yours, with or without my son present. I love doing activities with children in and outdoors including playing games, arts and crafts, and science experiments. I love story time and taking opportunities to have fun and learn too. I am reliable, responsible and caring. I am comfortable and confident with babies and understand the love and nurturing they need. I have attended several trainings from the Nurturing Parent Curriculum and Love and Logic.
