About Ashley

Hello, my name is Ashley. I am a bilingual military dependent with approximately 9 years of childcare experience. I was an active sitter in the Coast Guard base of Borinquen in Puerto Rico and a nanny for a family (1+ years). I have interacted with children of all ages as a sitter, mentor, junior counselor in my local Boys & Girls Club, and as a volunteer World Wide Day of Play, Language, and Math bowl, Hoops for Heart and orphanage visits. For approximately four years I looked after my neighbor's girls about two to three times a week, bathing them, cooking, changing diapers, helping with homework, etc. I also accompanied the children to parks and activity clubs, organized playgroup activities and gatherings with neighborhood children, and supervised their activities in their own rooms and play areas. When I'm not working I enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, baking, and arts & crafts. I am very handy and love DIY projects.
