About Ashley

Looking for part-time work for the right family. My undergraduate degree is in interdisciplinary studies, with a minor in early childhood education. I worked for several years as substitute in elementary and middle schools. I had three internships with Texas State University, one in pre-k, another in 2nd grade, and my semester of student teaching I taught 4th grade. I used to have my teaching certificate, but it has since expired. I recently got out of working for the State of Texas for the last 13 years. During that time, I also moonlighted for several childcare businesses and worked in the drop-in daycares. I also taught Sunday School at Riverbend for 2 years to ages 18-24 months. I also substituted in classrooms with students with developmental disabilities. From there, I worked in supporting adults with developmental disabilities for over 3 years.
