About Ashley

CRLA certified tutor with 10 years of experience and a goal to lead students toward becoming independent, active learners. I have spent thousands of hours tutoring throughout college and graduate school, and I feel confident tutoring in all major subjects. I've worked with students between the ages of 5 and 50. I have degrees in English education and philosophy, and my favorite projects are writing-based. I studied writing center pedagogy and have both attended and presented at many tutoring conferences. I am not the tutor who will complete your projects for you; I will guide you and teach you the methods that you need to be successful when no one else is in the room. During the day, I work in family law and volunteer as a guardian ad litem advocating for foster youth. I am primarily looking for tutoring opportunities on evenings and weekends.
