Hi, my name is Ashley. I'm a second grade teacher and have my Master's degree in elementary education and my CAGs as a reading specialist. I have been teaching for 11 years and have been babysitting since I was 12. Before I became a teacher, I was a nanny for newborn twins full-time for almost a year. I love working with children of all ages and enjoy animals as well. I'm looking for a summer position with a family of 1-2 children to join in on my family fun. I have three children, 4, 6, and 7. As a teacher, I like to keep a structured routine throughout the summer. We love playing outside, doing arts and crafts, playing board games, doing learning activities, and going on adventures. We love to go to Discovery Museum, Davis Farm, and swimming at Thoreau. My school year ends June 13, so I'm available any time after that except for the first two weeks of July. Ashely came to our house to meet our family - she was punctual, responsible, and very friendly. She was a great communicator and the kids enjoyed her company. She is a great catch for a family looking for an experienced capable nanny. We preferred to work with someone who lives closer to us - it was a tough decision!
