About Ashley

Hey There! I'm a UofL graduate with a B. S. in Secondary Education / English. I work as a substitute teacher in JCPS for flexibility in my schedule and then teach at reading programs during the summer. While I feel the most familiar with teens, my favorite classes to teach during summer are with the little ones! I've cared for both toddlers and infants over the course of the last 8 years and work to learn new parenting styles and routines quickly. Few new things surprise me-but I'm still open to it! :) Anything from Painting to Rock Climbing is probably on the spectrum of what I consider 'fun!' I believe quality time is the crucial thing for kids! If you had to pin me, though, I'll say I come from a family of career chefs and bakers so cooking is something I enjoy tremendously and always offer-especially when I get to teach it!
