About Ashley

Hi! I'm a patient and attentive caregiver who has spent a lot of time around children. I grew up as a teacher's kid who was often in and out of my mom's preschool classes, helping out with and getting to know her students. Throughout high school and college, I babysat for several different families while I worked toward graduating with my English degree. From there, I began working in the special education department and as an after school care worker at a wonderful charter school. Now, for about the past three years, I've been providing in-home special needs care. The greatest joy in my life for the past 19 months, though, has been caring for and playing with my little nephew. I'd love to meet some new families now too! I'm great with working on a schedule, but I also know that childhood is a time for joy and surprises, and I'd be happy to provide plenty of fun and educational experiences. I'm also willing to take on additional tasks upon request.
