Ashley was the summer nanny for my 2 boys, the summers they were 5 and 7, and 6 and 8. One of my boys has dyslexia, so a part of what I asked Ashley to do was ensure they did some reading and math every day so that they wouldn't slide. Both boys started school in August scoring better in reading then they did in May - success! She was also a lot of fun for the boys and would take them on hikes, swimming, biking, and all the other great things that little boys want to do with their summer. Ashley is a responsible babysitter as well - always punctual, clearly communicated if conflicts arose, left the house in better shape than she found it, and caring to the boys.
