Hi I am Ashley and I am that person in the grocery store line or in the restaurant trying to entertain your kiddos with silly faces or peekaboo. I am a confident story-teller, homework helper and snack maker. I have a 15-month-old daughter who likes to "yell" at me in ASL and I wouldn't have it any other way! I have experience with children of all ages. But over the last several years have worked mostly with toddlers, three years ago I started watching L (at 5months old) and in an effort to find more things for us to do, I fell down into the Montessori and Waldorf rabbit hole. I love the idea of following the child's lead and encouraging independent little people to just be themselves. I currently stay at home with my daughter, hoping to find a family that is open to having another child present. I have 10 years of Spanish and French and am currently teaching myself ASL.

Ashley is incredible and part of our family. She began watching our two little girls during the pandemic right when I was done with my maternity leave. I was anxious to return to work and all the uncertainties with the pandemic. She really put me at ease during a challenging time. She was so dependable, caring, flexible and considerate. She always took time to speak with me about the girls emotional and learning development, new learning activities and arts and crafts they could do, and prioritized outdoor time so they could play. Our girls love Ashley so much and anyone would be lucky to work with her.
