About Ashley

Hello! My name is Ashley and I am 27 years old. I have interned at an elementary school teaching kindergarten, 2nd grade and 4th grade. I am also certified to teach English as a second language. I work in regular classrooms as well as special education classrooms. I have also tutored 7th grade math and English, 11th grade English and 4th grade math. I volunteered at the Wells Branch library in the kids art department. I worked as an after school instructor at a private preschool in Austin, where I supervised kindergarten-5th grade and occasionally the infant/toddler classrooms. I also got the lovely opportunity to work with a family as a nanny for a preteen special needs child. Just recently I worked for about a year as a mentor teacher for Country Home Learning Center. I also had the opportunity to homeschool a child at a Kindergarten level. I love music and trying new things. I find working with kids so rewarding and I hope that I can meet you!
