I have always been an animal lover, and wanted to be a vet when I was younger. Although I chose to work for humans (as a nurse,) I still adore and seek animal interactions frequently. I have owned multiple species including dogs, cats, birds, fish, a ferret and rabbit, although I wish I had a farm to take in more! I also volunteered for years with a local dog rescue (Greater Chicago Cavalier Rescue.) Spending time with animals is not quite work, but more so enjoyable for me.
