About Asha

I have been taking care of the elderly ever since 2017 when my grand mother became very ill. She helped raise me so with no hesitation I made sure she had everything she needed, food wise, her doctors visits, also helping her clean and dress herself. It was so hard to see my Nanna like that and by November of that year she passed and it triggered a duty and a fulfillment to help the elderly full time. Ever since I was a child I would hang out with my grandmother and my elderly relatives and play cards and watch tv with them, I was an only child so I became very close with my grandmother. People would also tell me I have an old soul back then because I spent so much time hanging out with my Nanna so much. Cooking Sunday dinner, waking up early in the morning to help her cook and watch her effortless cooking techniques. The wisdom, patience, and testimony from the elderly is empowering to me. I love to care, nurture, and learn from people. This is why I love my job.
