About Ashanti

Hi there! My name is Ashanti and I am passionate, collegial, caring, patient, and observant Child Care Educator with 5 years of experience teaching infants, toddlers and preschoolers in an engaging learning environment. Most of my experience is working with infants from 3 months to 18-month-olds as I have been an infant lead teacher for 4 years now. I have an associate's degree in early childhood and I've received my bachelor's degree in child, family and youth. I also have experience with collaborating and building relationships with student parents, student employees, and others in the community to provide insight, resources and planned goals. I am currently a graduate student studying school counseling and am a developmental specialist for 0-3-year-olds. I have flexibility throughout sessions and open availability on weekends.
