About Art

Hi, I'm Art! I am an independent pet care provider in the Chapel Hill area with 17 years of hands-on experience as an urban homesteader. My life is rooted in the cycles of nature and a profound respect for animals, and I specialize in providing quiet, focused, one-on-one care for pets. My experience spans everything from standard domestic pet care to managing complex medical needs of senior cats with CKD, IBD, & FIC, and small-scale farm operations. Over nearly two decades, I have successfully cared for poultry flocks and rabbits, handling daily feeding, routine husbandry, and specialized health monitoring. Whether you need a reliable neighborhood walk, attentive drop-in visits, or dedicated overnight house sitting, my focus is entirely on maintaining your animals' comfort and peace of mind while keeping their routines perfectly in place.
