About Armelle

I love to spend time engaging seniors in conversation! For seven years I have enjoyed accompanying seniors on short walks, bringing them flowers, baked treats, old movies, beautiful music; reading them poems, short historical tales, inspirational articles; playing checkers or cards with them; looking at art books and old family photographs together... I also have experience with personal care, meal preparation, medicine reminders, transfers from chair to bed, running errands, light housekeeping, doing laundry, mending clothes, etc. Whether seniors are mobile or not, there is always a way to expand their universe and bring a smile to their face. I firmly believe that life is a wonderful gift regardless of age. Most of my clients have been in their nineties, some with dementia. Being a homeschooling mother of six has given me boundless curiosity about many topics... I love to listen to seniors tell me stories about their life, and feel very blessed to do this work!
