If there was an option for a million stars, I would have chosen it. Arlyn is a phenomenal caregiver. She took care of my 93 year old dad after my mother died. She inherited an extremely difficult situation - my dad had never expected to be a widower, he was in shock after my mom passed, he was physically frail, he was on hospice, and was struggling to cope with what had happened. There was no way he could have stayed at home unless I found a caregiver...and luckily, Arlyn came into our lives. She turned around my dad's situation in short order. She took phenomenal care of him, tending to all of his needs, helping him with his daily activities, and being a source of positive energy and happiness in the house. She also encouraged him to do as much as he could himself, including getting daily exercise which kept him in good health (physical and mental) for much longer than anyone could have expected. Her judgment on when to encourage him to do a little more vs. when give him a break was always correct and she kept him young as a result. Because of the phenomenal care that Arlyn provided, my dad was able to be there for the birth of my son and he was able to fully benefit from the experience of meeting and spending time with his grandson while remaining 100% cognitively with it. I cannot recommend Arlyn highly enough.
