I have had the special privilege of growing up with household pets. I always enjoyed caring for our animals. They were so much like part of the family. For a while, we owned a Rottweiler, most people assumed he would be aggressive, but Bartholomew was the sweetest dog and I absolutely loved him. Presently, we have a cat, Frisky, who thinks he rules the household, and a 16-year-old turtle we call, Tom.
