About Ariella

I have always had a strong love for children. Growing up around young kids, I have gotten very used to taking care of kids from the time of infant-hood to the age of about 12. I have worked at a day camp every summer for over 5 years, working mostly with elementary aged children 5-10. During the school year, I gained most of my experience as the leader of a group of children in kindergarten in an after-care center. Beyond tying shoes and wiping runny noses my duties included assisting the children with academic work, keeping them safe while being engaged in any activity, tending to their emotional needs, feeding them, and ultimately creating a safe, fun environment for the children to grow while they waited for their parents to come pick them up after work. Throughout my experience as a caregiver, I have also consistently cared for young children ages 3 months and up. I have a graduate level degree and have worked in emergency services.
