Hi my name is Ariel, I'm a 22-year-old part-time student at Clark College. I've been babysitting for about 8 years now and I've worked with kids aged 6mo-14yo, though I have more experience with those under 10y. I'd say I'm a caring and empathetic person with big ambitions. Working with children is something that comes naturally to me and i've grown to love it over the years and while i'm not a parent myself, I understand that parenting can be a taxing job and I'm here to give you a break, if even for a few hours. In my spare time, I like to knit, read, hang out with my friends. I'm also an avid music lover and love to dance and sing. I'm extremely comfortable with pets, being around them my whole life. I think I'd be a good fit for you and your families needs and I'm willing to help out in as many ways as I can. I'm open to negotiate on pay rate of that is necessary and I'm more than happy to find/ bring activities for the kiddos to do. Feel free to ask me any questions!

Ariel is AWESOME! This summer I found myself needing some help with my 13 and 16 year old- specifically getting them back and forth to a class while I am at work. Not typically the age you might think of when needing childcare, but without Ariel’s help my teens wouldn’t be able to take their class, at home- on screens. She made them a playlist while driving them to and from their class. My youngest is shy and she is drawing her out by connecting with her interest in D & D. After just moving to the area, Ariel made all the difference in my teens getting out and me having peace of mind while at work. An added bonus, while Ariel is waiting to pick the kids up from their class, she has been running the dishwasher, tackling the laundry and keeping our anxious dog company. Don’t hesitate- hire Ariel!
