I like working with kids because I've always enjoyed taking care of people. Being able to care for kids was something that's always come natural to me. I really admire children and their big personalities. As an adult I feel like can learn just as much from kids as they learn from us. Being able to connect with kids and give them sense of security emotionally is something I take pride in because I know how important it is for kids to have a safe space. I also think working with kids helps me stay connected to my inner child as well. I'm looking for a job that really fulfills me emotionally. Yes having a well paid job is important to me, however I'm seeking joy from the work I do and kids bring me joy. I want to feel like what I'm doing is purposeful.
