I've always been around kids younger than myself so I've always felt the responsibility of the 'big sister' role. Now I feel like the more involved auntie lol. I love that kids are blissfully unfiltered and their genuine curiosities keep you on your toes. I was in my moms daycare from around 10-16 years old and I helped her take care of the younger kids throughout that time by keeping them busy with games, music, gardening, homework, studying, chores, meals, and naps. I've since nannied for many families and added to the list of responsibilities trips to extracurricular and school events, pick-ups/drop-offs, outings like the park, library, grocery store, and restaurants; as well as housekeeping, running errands, and pet sitting with respect to salary expectations. Ariel is the best! I needed a last minute nanny and I was a little nervous having someone come who I hadn't even met yet but she was willing to talk on the phone the night before and eased my nerves. She was on time and very friendly! She followed my directions and was great with my son. She even did some cleaning and organizing for me which I didn't even ask her to do! I will definitely be keeping her in mind in case I need help again in the future!
