About Ariel

As a former competitive figure skater and instructor, camp counselor, and youth ministry leader, I have years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities! This has ranged from group settings (1:10 ratio) to one on one care (1:4 ratio). I am most familiar working with Down Syndrome and Autistic youth of all abilities. My academic background involves studying criminal justice and political science at Northeastern University, I am involved with research and several student organizations. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, organized, and motivated! I like working with children to support their development and learning with a nurturing and passionate environment! I'm always willing to be flexible and I'm an advocate for screen free babysitting! I will always engage in active play with the kids at all times, accommodating for learning and developmental disabilities, as well as encouraging learning/reading/teaching about the child's interests.
