About Ariel

Hi families! My name is Ariel and I'm hoping to be the special helping hand that you're looking for. Originally from Chicago, I started babysitting at 16 and for the past 8 years I have worked in a multitude of environments ranging from special needs children, to rambunctious boys, to older children just needing a watchful eye. I have a theater background and studied playwriting, directing, and acting in NYC. (Fun fact: Before pursuing theater I trained as a pre-professional ballerina until I was 14). I have incorporated this experience into my nannying practices by encouraging self expression and even doing movement explorations with toddlers/ babies! I love to engage kids in fun, imaginative activities and I love going outside and being active. I'm CPR and first- aid certified, DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) certified and have facilitated talking discussions in college and in professional settings. In my spare time I'm reading, volunteering, or camping!
