About Aria

Hi families! My name is Aria, and I'm thrilled to be considered to care for your kiddos. Before moving to NYC to study astrophysics and environmental biology at Columbia, I babysat from 8th through 12th grade. Today, I'm a student and lead educator in the Museum of Natural History's Discovery Room, working with hundreds of guests ages 4-12 and their adults to build connections to the natural world. I lead with empathy and resolve, and I love showing kids the paths curiosity can take through my lived experience (from training zoo animals to winning NASA grants!). I'm here to spark your child's curiosity and open them up to a world of possibilities. Whether it's building confidence to take on challenges or channeling big energy toward calm states, your child will receive loving, patient care tailored to their unique needs. I'm happy to assist in chores, tutoring, cooking, and whatever else will help provide the warmest home for your little ones. I look forward to speaking soon!
