Hello! My name is Aria, I am a 22-year-old student at Bowie State University working towards my degree in Child and Adolescent Studies and minoring in music. For the last 9 summers I have been involved in a curriculum based summer program, The Children's Defense Funds Freedom Schools. I started as a scholar in the program and worked my way up. Last year was my first summer as a Servant Leader Intern with my own class teaching and I returned this summer which was taught virtually. This summer being virtual was a task, but it was extremely successful and we had a lot of fun too!
