About Arden

Hi Parents! My name is Arden, and I'm a current student at NYU studying sociology. I've worked at multiple childcare positions as a ski instructor (ages 4-9), camp counselor (ages 6-12), and babysitter/nanny (ages 2-9). I began working with children when I was young, helping to take care of my younger sister. I loved reading her stories, playing games, and teaching her to bake. It was during these moments that I discovered my love for helping young minds explore the world around them. As I've studied sociology, I've seen the impact that early childhood experiences have on a one's development. My method of childcare is anchored in patience, empathy, and communication. I believe in listening to children and understanding their unique needs. By doing so, I can tailor my care to these needs and create a positive and trusting relationship with both the child and their parents.
