About Archana

Hi! My name is Archie, I am a graduating senior from UMass Amherst with a BS in Animal Sciences. For four years, I have studied the care, anatomy, and welfare of livestock, exotic, and domestic animals (dogs and cats!). I have worked with a dog and cat veterinarian for 6 years now, most recently assisting her as a veterinary technician. I was trained on the job and have knowledge of medication administration (optical, oral, subq, etc), can administer sub-cutaneous fluids, and most of all, will care for your pet as you see fit! I also have experience working with animals such as cows, sheep, alpacas, reptiles of all sorts, mice and even raccoons! I thoroughly enjoy caring for animals of all sorts. I will be interning full time at The Vocal Company, therefore I am unable to do extended overnight sitting. However my schedule remains flexible. Please reach out!
