For the first several months of my son's life husband and I were fortunate enough to have people that we knew watching him. Then, when our other caregivers' availability changed we nervously turned to care.com to find someone to take care of our precious little man. From when we first met Ara we really liked her personality and our son seemed to enjoy her presence from our first interview! We also felt more comfortable leaving our first baby with someone who has a background in healthcare - especially because I am an RN myself! While we would be thrilled to just have someone keeping our baby safe and helping take our dog outside a time or two, Ara has gone above that and helps with our dishes as well! Which is especially great for someone who hates dishes! Our son and our dog are both excited to see her when she comes over. And we are so grateful to have had her in home for the past couple of months. We plan to keep her around as long as is mutually agreeable for all of us!
