About Aquila

Greetings! I'm a college student with over six years of childcare experience supporting families in daycare, school, camp, and university program settings. I've worked with children from infancy through age 16 as a tutor, daycare employee, camp counselor, Teacher's Assistant, and Summer Residential Assistant for NYU programs. Studying abroad and working with students from different backgrounds has helped me become adaptable, patient, and a strong communicator. I also speak conversational Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, which has helped me connect with multilingual families and children interested in language learning. I'm CPR, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed certified, and I always focus on creating a safe and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable being themselves. I enjoy making everyday moments fun and engaging while helping children learn, grow, and build confidence.
