Hi, my name is April. I have plenty of experience working with children from infants to grade school age. I have babysat in my home or the family's home, I have 4 years experience as an assistant teacher for infant/toddlers and 3 years as a lead teacher. I am also a mom so I understand all the concerns when hiring a sitter. It's important for me to learn and understand non-verbal cues of children because they need to feel understood. I love to do crafts, singing, dancing, playing educational games that are age appropriate. I guarantee your child will be safe, learn and have fun in my care. PLEASE READ I do not have a college degree, but have taken many Early Childhood Education & Safety trainings during my time as a daycare teacher. I just finished nursing my baby and now that her father will be home with her, I will start taking some online classes towards obtaining my CDA.
