About April

Fostering a child's growth and development is my true passion. I have spent the last three summers working with a school for kindergarten, elementary, and middle school students as a Math Teacher. I am a student at UCLA, but only have classes 1-2 hours a day and am very good at managing time to stay on top of my studies, as well as work. I also tutor highschool students in various subjects and have experience helping preschool children with education as well. I am patient, calm, and approachable presence for children ranging from infants to age 12. My approach centers on your preferences; I am happy to follow your lead on household rules and communication styles. I enjoy engaging children through outdoor sports, educational games, and creative crafts. I am happy to assist with carpooling as well. I look forward to bringing warmth and stability to your family's daily routine.
