About April

Hi, my name is April! I am a board-certified music therapist with a passion for working with children. I have several years of nannying experience, and can provide references. I also have experience working at daycare and summer camp programs, and teaching early childhood music classes. I have a Bachelor's degree in music therapy, and am currently pursuing a Master's degree. I am a certified NICU music therapist and love to work with infants. I also have extensive experience with children with medical fragility and disabilities. I've taken courses in child development, child psychology, and music therapy's uses with children and infants. I would love to incorporate enriching musical activities in your child's care! Music has unique potential to promote self-expression, aid development, and provide opportunities for autonomy- and that's just scratching the surface!
