To me, family is everything. For that reason I feel so lucky to get to help you with yours! About me- I am a foster care social worker; I've gotten to support kids with trauma in the child welfare system, at school, and also at a residential treatment center. Outside of social work, I also have over 10 years of experience in childcare with infants through teens. Additionally, I taught for 2 years as an elementary school teacher in Mexico, an amazing experience that enabled me to learn Spanish! Previously, I worked for 4 years as a Kumon math and reading teaching assistant. I studied human development for my BS and social work for my MS, both at UT Austin. How does this all come together? Well, I'm a firm advocate of kids not only getting their needs met safely, but also thriving in the context of their environments and communities!
