I am currently working with a family who I met here on care. com. I take care of rambunctious 6-year-old autistic boy, who is non-verbal. He is getting home schooled and receives ABA therapy at home. I have learned a lot since I started September end last year. I thought I was patient before but I realized to have tons more. It's a very challenging job but so rewarding when he picks up a skill after months of working at it. This boy has made me enjoy life more and taught me so much. I am very nurturing, reliable, have lots of experience, and can cook amazing homemade Indian food. I love singing songs, reading books, puzzles, playing pretend and going to the park. I speak Hindi and could teach your kids a new language.

I met Anu more than 10 years ago in college, she was an RA and wonderful support to the floor of young women that she was assigned to. Her ability to support others has continued and broadened. She has always been a wonderful cook of Indian cuisine and able to accommodate special diets. I delight in the time that my children can spend with her and trust her with their care. She is a compassionate person, a good listener and respects the requests of parents. I often have conversations with her where she is looking for ideas to better support the needs of the children for which she provides care, going above and beyond.
