Our family had the true pleasure of Antonietta (Nettie) being our regular daycare provider, three full days a week for about nine consecutive years for all three of our children from 12 weeks of age until preschool-age. My husband visited 10+ in-home childcare providers while I was on bedrest with our first child and even then, he could tell Nettie was something special. I feel so fortunate for us to have found her since we honestly could not have asked for someone better to care for our children. She is a complete natural, who  genuinely cares deeply about our children. They still love having special day-long visits with her per their request and they are 9, 12, and 14 years old. She is warm, caring, and makes the most amazing food, often from the harvest of her own garden. Our kids would rave about absolutely anything she cooked, but especially her homemade soups and meatballs for lunch :).  Nettie cared for our children in her home when she used to have a group of children, which, at many places we considered, was chaotic and loud. Not at Nettie's house - we would walk in for pick-up and things were consistently peaceful and calm, and the kids were all so happy, like it was their second home. I used to joke that she is like a "child whisperer". Her background working in the Pediatric ER part-time at the time was also priceless, especially when we were new parents and worried about everything, since she would be able to quickly calm any fears with her knowledge, insight, and practicality. She was like a parent consultant for us. Overall, we honestly can't say enough good things about Nettie, and very highly recommend her.
