About Antonia

Hi! My name is Antonia (Toni for short) and I am a nanny, an artist, and an online animation student with a very flexible schedule. I've been working with children for 7 years, and I can confidently say it has been nothing but a delight. I firmly believe in dedicating time to foster intellectual and emotional growth through the use of creativity. I take an out of the box approach to everyday tasks by teaching kids to intrinsically motivate themselves; I present homework as a reward! This allows kids to learn, play, and accomplish tasks simply because it brings them joy. I avoid giving one-time extrinsic rewards like 'screen time' as much as possible and prefer to let kids be kids; as curious, creative, and messy as they may be! Instead of 'screen time', I provide children with opportunities to grow and have fun. This includes outings to the zoo, museum, or library, drawing, cooking, and playing outdoors. Apart from working, in my free time, I love hiking, making art, and cooking.
