I hired Anthe in March 2021 after my husband had a stroke. Unfortunately, it was his 2nd stroke and he required more care than I could provide myself while working full-time from home. My husband came home from a local nursing home with a CDiff infection, wearing diapers, and needing assistance to stand, walk, etc. Anthe jumped right in and helped shower, bathe him, change his diapers, etc all while building a friendship with him and joking with him. She allowed him to keep his dignity while assisting him. My husband was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer in May of 2021 and Anthe continued to help care for him as his declined. He underwent surgery to have his testicles removed, he had monthly Xgeva injections and began a strong dose of two chemo drugs and Anthe cared for him throughout the process. Unfortunately, my husband died on 08/25/21 the day of his 65th birthday and luckily for me Anthe was here that day as well! She stayed on afterward to help me with the house.
