About Sara

I am a 3rd grade teacher who is also in graduate school for teaching the linguistically diverse. I love my 3rd graders, but I have tons of experience with children ages 6 months to 10 years old, since I've been in childcare for over 7 years. From volunteering in kids ministry at my church to teaching, I have extensive experience with children. My passion is teaching reading and other early literacy skills! I love spending time outside and exploring local parks and museums. I am looking for a part time summer position, starting June 1st to July 31st. This could include tutoring in reading, writing, and math, as well as some fun summer activities!

We love Sara. She is wonderful with our 6 year old daughter. She comes to the house with books and games! She also pet sits for us regularly. We are lucky to know her. She is kind, punctual, responsible and trustworthy! I highly recommend her!
