My name is Ann. I am a 62-year-old woman who has lived in the area almost 40 years. I raised two children here, so I am familiar with the library, rec center and almost every park in town. I love to cook with kids, read books, sing, or just be silly. I have a lot of patience and love making kids feel valued. I have a bachelor's degree in education and have run two successful licensed childcare homes (winning best childcare of the year in 2013). I have been the Lead Teacher for Children's World in Evergreen, Assistant Teacher for The Head Start in Empire and until recently the paraprofessional in the kindergarten class at King Murphy in Evergreen. I am looking for a long-term commitment with the right family.

I met Ann two years ago, after my son's dad passed away. I was a single mom with no family around to help. I called Ann, the best call I made. She took my son in and helped me out so much. The best thing was all the things Ann taught him, he would come home with so many projects they did though out the day. My son ran out the car when we would show up to Ann's house. He loves her a lot. Another good thing with having Ann help was the late night when I would get stuck on the highway. I would call and she would always say "take your time and get here safe". She would make my son dinner and have him ready for bed by the time I showed up. All I have to say is Ann is great and when you hire her for a job, you will know your kid or kids will be safe, happy and loved. What more can you ask for.
