About Ann

Hello I'm Annie! I work full-time as a nutrition educator in Philadelphia public schools and am looking for a part-time tutoring position. Working with children is one of my greatest joys, and I love helping all styles of learners meet their academic goals and find joy in learning. I have been working in childcare and education since I was 14 and never stopped! Throughout high school and college I was a swim lessons instructor, camp counselor, environmental education intern, and peer tutor. After graduating last Spring, I moved back to the Philadelphia area where I teach nutrition and supporting healthy eating for grades K-4 at 6 public schools in the Northeast. I love helping out my younger cousins with their homework and would love to help support your child in their academic path. My approach to teaching and tutoring centers patience, creating real-life connections to the material, and building confidence in students. I currently live in South Philly and have evening availability!
