I began nannying while attending university for a family with three boys, five and under. I have always enjoyed children and babies, and quickly fell in love with this work. I have since helped several other families and remain close friends with them all. It is my goal to care for your child/children, spending our time together exercising creativity through cooking, exploring, creating art and socializing. I have significant experience caring for children and previously taught art to adults with intellectual disabilities. I am now mother to a lively and wonderful 7-year-old son. My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in photography with a minor in ceramics and an Associates degree in graphic design. I have recently chosen to foster my desire to care for others by going back to school as a nursing major. My plan is to nanny during my days off from school. Ann was a nanny for our three boys for about 3 years starting when our youngest was a newborn. I can't say enough good things about Ann. She is incredible with kids. She is warm, loving, kind and fun. She always speaks nicely to the kids yet manages to have excellent control over them. She was always up for an adventure and frequently took our boys frogging, fishing or on any outdoor excursion. My children all adore her. From a parent perspective she is easy and enjoyable to work with. She is always dependable and responsible. I never worried about my kids when they were with her because she is bright, feeds them healthy food and gave them the affection they needed. Ann still babysits for us occasionally but is now someone we consider a friend. I can't imagine anyone who hires Ann being anything but thrilled.
