I'd describe my personality as calm, fun-loving, and ambitious. I like tutoring because of the amazing tutors and teachers who worked with me when I was in school. Keeping up with classes can be stressful, and having one-on-one attention can make all the difference. I'm looking for a job that fulfills me and supports me financially as I complete my graduate education. As a former teacher who is changing careers, I want to keep teaching in my life. It brings me joy and purpose. I started off as a tutor for high school students drafting their college application essays. I then transitioned to full time classroom teaching, which I did for 2 years, teaching both 5th and 8th grade and subbing for 6th and 7th when needed. In my spare time, I like to read books, take runs, and hang out with friends and family. I'm extremely reliable, timely, and committed to whatever I am doing in the moment. My top skills include essay writing, reading comprehension, and spelling/grammar.
