Hello Philadelphia families! I am a practicing and committed art educator and crafts person. I am currently employed as a High-School arts / English teacher and I have 8+ years experience running art themed camps and classes for kids ages 18 months - 16. Due to Covid -19 I will not be able to return to the classroom until next September. I am very much missing my students and would like to spend my time this summer helping a family or families who do not have the option to send kids to camps or daycare. My extensive experience with kids of all ages, special needs and abilities prepare me for any situation. I have worked with kids on the autism spectrum, kids with down syndrome and cerebral palsy. Currently, I teach a population of young mothers ages 16-21 who are pursuing a high-school diploma. I have all my clearances and teaching certifications up to date, including CPR / first aid response training. Please reach out of you think I would be a good fit for you and your family!

Annemarie took care of my two young girls (toddler and young child) on a work-week, half-day schedule during the 2020 shutdowns. She stepped into the role with ease and instantly formed a strong connection with the girls. They had a lot of fun and learned plenty (maybe without even realizing it). I'd gladly hire Annemarie again and recommend her without reservation.
