Happy spring time! I have found great joy working in childcare and tutoring for over 5 years! My goal is to encourage and uplift students who may be struggling or need extra support in achieving their educational goals and an overall better understanding of their school work. My experience ranges from age 8 to advanced high school students. I have experience with children with learning disabilities and working with pods of students. I have found it incredibly fulfilling to watch my students grow and persevere through their struggles in a traditional learning environment. Patience, perseverance, one-on-one help, and developing a personalized approach for my students is the key! Together we will work on studying techniques, problem-solving skills, math, reading, comprehension and more! My kids adore Annelisa! They bonded with her so quickly. She was always keeping them engaged in activities and offered tremendous homework help. We are so grateful for her! She was able to push our oldest son to get his grades up by tutoring him while looking out for our young kids. She really knows how to keep them focused when they need it on their schoolwork, while remaining sensitive to the need for breaks or exercise. She has taught cooking skills during lunch and they built a cool gingerbread house over the holidays. She has a great sense of humor and has done an excellent job communicating with me. Above all, she has a very kind heart. Annelisa really cares about the kids and making sure they are well taken care of and happy.
