About Annedell

Hello! I'm Annedell :) I'm an infant/preschool teacher who has left their preschool in Boston to come home to the east coast and be near family for the summer. I have taught infants, toddlers and preschoolers for 4 years, as well as summer camps with elementary school students. I am a teacher and a nanny because I absolutely love children and being a part of the genuinely magical transformation they go through. Planning new materials, experiences and explorations for children is one of the things I love best. I love to take my students outside, reading to them, singing to them, dancing, building activities and STEM explorations. Listening to the child's interests and noticing what they are attracted to always leads my teaching, as well as current events in the family and the natural world. I practice NVC or non-violent communication with students, focusing on language that directs the child positively instead of negatively. I use reggio-emilia inspired curriculum direction practice.
