About Anna

Anna worked as our full-time nanny from September 2025 to September 2026, caring for our son from age 1.5 to 2.5. We are only parting ways because he is starting preschool, not for any lack of anything on Anna's part. Anna brought warmth, reliability, and genuine care to her role. She was never late, not once in a full year, and we always felt completely at ease knowing our son was in her hands. Her focus was entirely on him, and she clearly loved spending her days with him. Anna was wonderful about getting him out into the world, taking him to the Children's Museum of Manhattan, public libraries, bookstores, music time at Whole Foods, and countless playgrounds around the city. She filled his days with books and games, and she always came prepared with new ideas to keep him engaged. One of the things we valued most was Anna's fluency in Mandarin. She made a point of speaking with him in Mandarin throughout their time together, helping him continue building that language alongside English. Anna also has a real gift for handling toddler emotions. When he had tantrums, she never forced anything on him or lost her patience. Instead, she stayed calm, spoke to him gently, and helped him work through his feelings on his own terms. Anna is trustworthy, warm, dependable, and wonderful with children. Any family lucky enough to have her join their household will be gaining not just excellent childcare, but someone who will genuinely care for and about their child.
