With over two decades of hands-on caregiving experience, I bring both professional skill and heartfelt dedication to every person I care for. I spent 8 years working in a medical-surgical hospital unit, followed by 15 years providing compassionate home care. One of my most meaningful roles was caring for my own mother 24/7 for seven years. Throughout those years, I balanced multiple jobs--including mail carrier, client service representative, industrial worker, and cook--while homeschooling my children for 12 years and founding a cooperative that supported 50 children and their families. These roles reflect my commitment to nurturing others, managing complex responsibilities, and creating safe, supportive environments. I was previously certified as a CNA and hold expired certifications in CPR and First Aid, which I'm prepared to renew as needed. My practical knowledge remains strong, and I stay current with best practices in elder care and safety.
